Annual Report Project for the Keep New Zealand Beautiful annual conference. The project included the following documents to be designed as a package:
- annual report
- program
- powerpoint template, and
- event tickets
Keep New Zealand Beautiful are a non-for-profit organisation who are a community of people tidying their country.
This project was very fun to work on. The existing branding is fun and contains lots of colours so there was lots to play with in terms of design elements. The main aspect of the design in terms of uniqueness is the New Zealand native fern illustration. After this is placed on any of the corporate colours it instantly adds visual interest. This design was even easily applied behind a mostly text background. Please see below.
In terms of fonts and layout, I have really gone with super simple. This is an annual report so does contain a lot of text, tables and information. I did not want the piece to look like it was ‘designed’ or be arty but to be super easy to understand at first glance. So there are several heading levels, many dot points and variations in font size and colour. The whole point of every design choice was to create maximum clarity. I really didn’t want the reader to see a wall of text. So I have broken up the content as much as possible.
With the program printed full colour on glossy paper, it has a very luxurious feeling. 
Simple Powerpoint Presentation that contains front cover, some internal slides and back cover. All the fonts and images are built in using Master Styles so that it is super quick and easy for any user to edit the presentation.
The conference weekend also included a couple of events. Therefore I also designed a couple of tickets to be used for the events.
